I currently own more than 8,300 albums in a wide variety of genres. The following pages list all of these titles. Unfortunately, I had dozens of additional albums, but through the years I either lost MP3 files due to computer crashes, or certain friends (names withheld to protect the guilty—they know who they are) borrowed albums, cassettes, or CDs and “forgot” to return them. Therefore, any of my “formerly owned” albums are not included on these pages.
Each page below has the bands/artists listed in alphabetical order (***), along with the title of each album, its year of original release, my rating (on a 5-Star scale), and any random comments I have regarding the overall band/artist or their catalogue of releases. Additionally, if I’ve reviewed a particular album for inclusion on this blog, I’ve linked the listing to the appropriate page so you can easily read further. My goal is to keep these pages updated as I purchase additional albums, add ratings, add reviews and commentary, or add band/artist “overviews” as time, inclination, energy, and mood allows.
*** Please note, when it comes to albums by solo artists (“Rod Stewart,” for example) I have listed them alphabetically under the artists’ FIRST name (so, as in the above example, under the letter “R”). There is, however, one exception—all albums issued by the artist Frank Zappa (whether they were officially released under the names “Zappa,” “Frank Zappa,” “Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention,” etc.) are listed under “Z” to keep them grouped together.
And finally, any errors on these pages are completely my own fault, so if you find that I’ve listed something incorrectly, please let me know. I welcome the info. 🙂
